What exactly is electronic relationship abuse?
Digital dating abuse is abusive behavior that develops between partners via texts, social media marketing, or associated online news.
Cyberbullying analysis Center founders Sameer Hinduja and Justin Patchin recently circulated their research paper entitled, “Digital Dating Abuse Among a nationwide Sample of U.S. Youth” in the Journal of Interpersonal Violence to illuminate how violence that is dating manifesting online.
Relating to this research, throughout the previous 12 months more than 25 % of teenagers, or 28.1 per cent, have already been a target of some kind of electronic relationship abuse.
How can a partner or significant other harm their victim?

- Steal their unit.
- Threaten them via text.
